Bought this to remind mum to take Parkinson's medication. Initially she was reluctant as she has never liked wearing something on her wrist, but she now finds it so comfortable she forgets she's wearing it. She has three alarms for the early morning tablet to make sure she's properly awake, then 4 more alarms through the day. It's ideal, we are all really pleased!
I bought the dispenser in 2021 for my mother who has vascular dementia. Two years on it still works very well and it’s good that it’s lockable. Ten days ago my mother threw the unit out into the front garden - she was having a bit of a moment. It didn’t break and it didn’t come undone thanks to it being locked. When I got the unit I was a bit surprised there was only one key. However, I didn’t realise how quick and easy it would be to order a spare - until now.
Brilliant little invention that has really helped with reminding mum to take her medication. My only negative would be I wish it was louder for when mum doesn’t have her hearing aids in, but so far it is working perfectly.
I use it as alarm as my wife is very sensitive to sounds and my early alarm was destroying her sleep and our baby’s too. It has helped a lot! Really happy to have bought it.
Really like my Tabtime watch. I have several mediations to take that are time critical so it helps with that. Very easy to set up and use. Recommended!
The actual timer is great but the buckle on the strap is fiddly for my mother who has parkinsons.. A stretchy slip on and off strap would be better.
I don't have Parkinson's or Alzheimer’s but often forget to take my tablets at the right time. I bought myself one box and then my daughter bought me another so that I can get a weeks suply at twice a day in them.
Does just what it promises.
Bought for a dementia sufferer, this was just what we needed. The set up was a bit fiddly but the video helped. So far it has worked as it should. The only minor snag is the carousel doesn't line up exactly with the dispenser slot. Overall good product.
Though my wife has a pill dispenser with an alarm it gets left where the sound goes unheard. Also, there are times you don't want the alarm to disturb others. This vibrating alarm worn on the wrist avoids those issues, and she has quickly become used to wearing it. However, I can't quite get her used to the idea she can use it instead of her watch!
Thank you for your help and quick delivery of two replacement trays with good quality lids to help manage the easy change my mums medicines. My mum is finding the tab Time Machine easy to use and no forgotten meds or problem with when to take the next ones. Many thanks
This is perfect for my father in law with advanced Parkinsons. It's pocket size and has two days worth at 4 times a day. It has 8 alarms, one for each container. However, where it fails badly is in setting. IT's fiddly an somewhat unintuitive, and must be done by someone younger who has their wits about them. Additionally (and this is a huge fail). When you change or remove the battery, ALL the settings are lost and you have to set it all up again from scratch. This is a gaping design flaw and needs to be addressed with a simple memory chip or even a backup battery.
It was easy to set up. It's reassuring that pills can only be taken at the direct dose at the right time of day.
I'm just waiting to see how long the batteries last
Bought for my husband he’s getting used to it slowly but at least he can’t take the wrong medication as it only allows him to take specific ones when the alarm sounds
Definitely a good product for someone who regularly forgets to take medication
This pill dispenser has been an excellent purchase.
It's easy to refill. It's simple to access the tablets for the client.
It has enabled the carers to be a little more relaxed regarding the dispensing of medications.
Well worth the cost.
The purchase of extra keys to open the device to replenish the medications was helpful to us.
